Terms of use
Effective October 12, 2026
Door Post is a free app for memorizing Scripture. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you.
By using the Door Post website at doorpostbible.com or the Door Post apps, you agree to these terms. Door Post is run by Let's Try Things, LLC ("we").
Using Door Post
You may use Door Post for your own study, at home, in a church or in a classroom. Please don't misuse it: don't try to break or overload the service, get into other people's accounts, or use it to break the law.
Your account
You need an account to use Door Post. It keeps your progress saved and in sync across your devices. You're responsible for activity on your account, so keep your sign-in secure. You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Your content
Reflections and notes you write belong to you. You give us permission to store them and show them back to you across your devices, only to run Door Post.
Scripture and commentary
The Bible translations in Door Post (the World English Bible, Berean Standard Bible, King James Version, American Standard Version and Bible in Basic English) and Matthew Henry's Commentary are in the public domain. Door Post's own design, text, artwork and code belong to Let's Try Things, LLC.
Licensed Bible translations
Some Bible translations in Door Post are copyrighted by their publishers and provided through API.Bible. Each one shows its copyright notice where it appears. They're offered only for your own reading and memorizing within Door Post: please don't copy, collect or republish their text.
Changes and availability
We're always improving Door Post, so features may change. We try to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we ever shut Door Post down, we'll give notice so you can save a copy of your progress.
No warranty
Door Post is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Let's Try Things, LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Door Post. Because Door Post is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Door Post after a change means you accept the new terms.
